AWS EventBridge

Amazon EventBridge receives events (JSON documents) on an event bus, matches them with rules and delivers them to targets such as Lambda, SQS, SNS and Step Functions. Most AWS services emit events to it, for example an EC2 state change or a GuardDuty finding. It also offers scheduled rules (cron), the EventBridge Scheduler and Pipes.

With Terraform: aws_cloudwatch_event_rule, aws_cloudwatch_event_target and aws_scheduler_schedule. It was previously part of CloudWatch Events.
