**Amazon Redshift** is a petabyte-scale data warehouse based on columnar storage and massively parallel processing, compatible with PostgreSQL clients. It queries data loaded into the cluster and also data in [S3](https://www.itwonderlab.com/aws-s3/) with Redshift Spectrum. Choose **provisioned** clusters for steady workloads or **Redshift Serverless** for variable ones. For transactional workloads use [RDS](https://www.itwonderlab.com/aws-rds/) or [Aurora](https://www.itwonderlab.com/aws-aurora/).

With Terraform: `aws_redshift_cluster`, `aws_redshiftserverless_namespace` and `aws_redshiftserverless_workgroup`.
