**Amazon Bedrock** offers foundation models from Anthropic, Amazon, Meta, Mistral and others through one API, with features such as knowledge bases (retrieval-augmented generation), agents, guardrails, fine-tuning and batch inference. Access to each model is granted per account and region, data is not used to train the models, and you pay per input and output tokens or for provisioned throughput. Applications call it with [IAM](https://www.itwonderlab.com/aws-iam/) permissions, often from [Lambda](https://www.itwonderlab.com/aws-lambda/), and it can be reached privately through [PrivateLink](https://www.itwonderlab.com/aws-privatelink/).

With Terraform: `aws_bedrock_guardrail`, `aws_bedrockagent_knowledge_base`, `aws_bedrockagent_agent` and `aws_bedrock_model_invocation_logging_configuration`.
